04 / 06Team workspaces
Shared folders that explain themselves.
Open Folders gives teams a plain structure and permissions anyone can read at a glance. You always know who can see what, and why.
What Open Folders does.
Plain structure
Shared folders look and behave like ordinary folders, so nobody needs training to use them.
Three clear roles
Viewer, Editor and Owner. Each role is described in one sentence wherever you pick it.
Invite by email or group
Add a person or a whole group in one step and change their role whenever things change.
A who-has-access panel
Open any folder and see everyone with access, and whether it comes from this folder or a parent.
A searchable activity log
See who added, edited, moved or removed a file, and when it happened.
Four steps, start to finish.
- 1
Create the folder
Make a new folder or turn an existing one into a shared space.
- 2
Invite people
Add teammates or groups by email, with an optional expiry for guests.
- 3
Set each role
Choose Viewer, Editor or Owner for each person. Subfolders follow the parent.
- 4
Review any time
Open the access panel to check or tidy permissions in a minute.
